Upcoming Pilgrimage
In July of 2027, I’ll co-lead a ten-day walking pilgrimage in Norway sponsored by Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum. We’ll hike a portion of the historic Pilegrimsleden, or St. Olaf Ways, from Oppdal to Trondheim, following ancient pilgrimage paths through the Norwegian countryside. Our arrival in Trondheim coincides with the opening of the St. Olav Festival. As someone with deep Norwegian roots (which I wrote about in The Soul of the Family Tree), I’m delighted to be part of this meaningful journey.
